Happy new year and welcome back to year one and two! We have had a lovely week settling back in. The children have thoroughly enjoyed seeing one another again. In Literacy, this week the children have been recounting their Christmas holidays. Also, Thursday saw us participating in our jump-in afternoon. The whole school theme is ‘Cynefin’. In year one and two we are focusing on Cowbridge high street. The children shared their Selfie photos from their homework, discussing the local landmarks and their favourite places. Mr Griffiths set the school a challenge of drawing or painting local landmarks. The children really enjoyed the challenge and worked well using detail.
