Maths

We have been working hard this week on becoming confident in our place value knowledge. We’ve used the terminology tens and ones, and even hundreds and thousands, to understand how a number is made and how this helps us to write our numbers correctly.

The children have been using a mixture of concrete resources, i-pad games and written work to help and support their understanding. It has been a worthwhile week focusing on place value. Good work this week year 1 & 2.
